Reservation Policy for Transient Moorage
It is with great pride that we welcome you to the Port of South Whidbey Harbor at Langley. Our southeast Whidbey Island location in Saratoga Passage and the City of Langley offering unique amenities and celebrations make the marina a desirable destination port. Our goal is to make your stay at the Port of South Whidbey Harbor at Langley as enjoyable and accommodating as possible.
Therefore, the Port of South Whidbey Harbor at Langley has adopted the following slip reservation policy.
Group Reservations (4 or more vessels traveling together)
- Please make arrangements as early as possible
- Call the Harbormaster for availability of desired dates (360 221-1120)
- E-mail the following information to Harbormaster@portofsouthwhidbey.com:
a. Number of vessels
b. Name of Vessel, LOA (include bowsprit, platforms, dingy, etc), draft, & beam
c. Group coordinator/contact person & information
- Confirmation must be made within 24 hours of arrival
- Peak Season (May 15th - October 15th) Friday or Saturday arrivals require a 2 day stay
- No reservations for Memorial Day Weekend, July 3rd, 4th, 5th or Labor Day Weekend (handled on first come first serve basis)
- Reservations will be confirmed by Port of South Whidbey and a docking plan with slip assignments will be sent to group coordinator prior to arrival
- Group size will be limited to approximately 50% of marina capacity
- All moorage fees will be paid upon arrival
- Boater's arriving after 6:00pm on the day of arrival, must contact Harbormaster before 6:00pm, for any additional instructions and slip assignment
- Check out time is 2:00pm, unless prior arrangements are made with Harbormaster
Individual Reservations
- Individual reservations may be requested within 14 days of arrival to the Harbormaster
- Confirmation of arrival must be made to Harbormaster within 24 hours of arrival
- Slip assignments will be made upon arrival
- Slip assignment is based on vessel size, beam and draft
- Rafting must be allowed on end tie at Dock A & B
- Limited reserved dockage is available

Captain Rick began life on the water crewing onboard his father’s racing sailboats. Rick has since sailed waters around the world and worked from Deckhand to Captain on a variety of vessels including Tug & Barge to Schooners, Yachts and Cruise Vessels. Rick has served as an Instructor for the Seattle Maritime Academy as well as a guest instructor & speaker for several public & private boating organizations.
Rick joined the Port of South Whidbey as they took over the operation and management of the Langley Harbor Marina. As Harbormaster, he states "The future plans for developing the Langley Marina into a great facitlity welcoming guests and residents to enjoy the surrounding marine enviroment is exciting and challenging." A challenge he is confident in meeting!
